Little Mr. William turned 1 on Jan. 4. We celebrated with a little party at Grandma and Grandpa Buroker's house. Will was very pleased with all his gifts and enjoyed his cake. He's normally a neat eater, but who can resist smearing frosting around?
We got Will into his 1-year doctor's check-up a couple weeks late, but as his mother I am pleased to report he came in at an impressive 28 lbs (95th percentile), 33 inches (99th percentile), and a head size in the 100th percentile!
William is a proficient crawler and enjoys chasing or being chased around the house. He can cruise along the couch and around the coffe table, but he knows crawling will get him where he wants to go the fastest. He waves bye-bye, plays patty-cake, and his favorite toy is the computer mouse which he can just now reach (despite the fact that he has a bucket of toys 3 feet away and filled to the brim...) Will is a very good-natured little boy and the center of our family.
